Jongo Trio - Jongo Trio (1965)

I'm now the happy owner of the first issue of this legendary Farroupilha album, the first album recorded by the mighty Jongo Trio. This is a repost with several improvements, high quality back and front cover scans, nice vinyl ripping and alternative FLAC files are the improvements. I'm gathering the text I wrote for the first post more than a year ago.

This is Jongo Trio - Jongo Trio (1965), for Farroupilha, the legendary Bossa Nova Jazz combo featuring Saba (bass), Toninho (drums) and Cido (bass), competent musicians with previous collaborations with Pedrinho Mattar, Manfredo Fest and others. Jongo Trio have backed up Baden Powell on his early recordings, Elis Regina and also made several participations on other artists albums and live recordings. After releasing this album, they made an hiatus of five years, being back on recordings in 1970, 1972 and recently for Diebold, a fantastic album produced by our great Loronix friend Joao Samuel. Tracks include:
