Baden Powell - Gravado ao Vivo em Paris (1973)

This post has two purposes. The first is to show Loronixers another great out of print Baden Powell LP. The second is to invite you to get along with one of the best musicians websites that I know, made with passion, with extensive research and special attention on each detail.

Brazil-on-Guitar is the best Baden Powell website at the Internet, you should not miss at http://brazil-on-guitar.de. I'm a heavy user of Brazil-on-Guitar, there, I could understand why Baden Powell says Arigato at the end of this album, in spite of being record in Japan (1970), this album was released in Brazil as Gravado ao Vivo em Paris (1973), which is the LP that I have. Take a time to visit Brazil-on-Guitar and improve your knowledge on Baden Powell music.

This is Baden Powell - Gravado ao Vivo em Paris (1973), for Barclay/Ariola, featuring The Baden Powell Quartet with Baden Powell (guitar), Ernesto Ribeiro-Goncalves (bass), Helio Schiavo (drums) and Helio Schiavo (percussion). I will be straightforward this time, since you now have Brazil-on-Guitar. Tracks include:

01 - Garota de Ipanema (Tom Jobim / Vinicius de Moraes)
02 - Folha Morta (Ary Barroso)
03 - Jesus Alegria dos Homens (Johann Sebastian Bach / Adpt. Baden Powell)
04 - Marcha Escocesa (Adpt. Baden Powell)
05 - Berimbau (Baden Powell / Vinicius de Moraes)
06 - Tristeza (Haroldo Lobo / Niltinho Tristeza)
07 - Samba Triste (Billy Blanco / Baden Powell)
