Maestro Carioca & Orquestra Popular da Guanabara - Rio (1968)

Some friends will think or say: "here comes zecalouro with another of those promotional albums for tourists in Rio de Janeiro...". No problem, I would make only this cover that worth the entire experience with this antique. That's why I'm making something different this time; I'm including a high-resolution copy of cover artwork with no Rapidshare. Let's see.

This is Orquestra Popular da Guanabara - Rio (1968), for Premier, same concept used in the previous release of this kind, issued for promote tourism activities, musicians not credited, nice cover artwork picturing well-known spots in Rio de Janeiro and a repertoire full of standards. However, there is an exception, this album features an orchestra lead by Maestro Carioca, Orquestra Popular da Guanabara and the repertoire is a wonderful selection of songs with lyrics about Rio de Janeiro.
