Ribamar e Zito Righi - Ribamar & Zito Righi (1963)

Hello, Good Evening! The rain falls with no mercy in Rio de Janeiro and zecalouro does not use to fly on rainy days. It was a day to check the very old and forgotten music with some great findings to Loronixers. Starting with this one, just to take advantage of the great feedback given to the last Caetano Rodrigues contribution, the first Zito Righi solo album, Sax de Ouro. Now it is time to check what Zito Righi delivers with his third and last LP, in partnership with the pianist Ribamar. Let's see.

This is Ribamar e Zito Righi - Ribamar & Zito Righi (1963), for Musidisc, featuring Ribamar piano and Zito Righi sax tenor, accompanied by not credited musicians on bass, drums, guitar and percussion. Toni Vestane once again plays his role of special guest singing track 03 - Ai de Mim. This is a very relaxed session with Ribamar and Zito Righi performing a repertoire based on Brazilian, French, Spanish and American tunes. Tracks include:

01 - Que É Que Eu Faço (Ribamar (1) / Dolores Duran)
02 - Canção dos Olhos Tristes (Tito Madi)
03 - Ai de Mim (Capiba) - with Toni Vestane
04 - Aimer Comme Je T'aime (H. Giraud)
05 - Una Mujer (Paul Misraki)
06 - Quando Vuelva a Tu Lado (Maria Grever)
07 - Sunday Monday Or Always (J. Heusen / J. Burke)
08 - Sim Ou Não (Zito Righi)
09 - Só Em Teus Braços (Tom Jobim)
10 - Onde Estava Eu (Armando Cavalcanti / Victor Freire)
