Here we go on the 78-rpm album of the day and the first in the format recorded by the legendary label Todamerica, active from the 50's until the early 70's. As far as I know, Todamerica released only in the 78rpm format, even after the popularization of the LPs. Todamerica made these beautiful labels with pictures of the artists, such as this one featuring Doris Monteiro.This is Doris Monteiro - 78rpm | 5220 (1952), for Todamerica, featuring songs from the Brazilian movie Agulha no Palheiro. Orchestra backs Doris Monteiro. I'm not sure if Doris Monteiro was also an actress on this movie, it is something that really worth checking out. Tracks include:
