Les 4 Cadillacs - Doucement, Mon Amour (1962)

Since the first month of Loronix, several friends have been asking for an album by this Brazilian group Les 4 Cadillacs, a creation of Nilo Sergio, Musidisc owner. The reason is the presence of Ed Lincoln at the piano on every album by this quartet. Since then, I found the first and decided to wait for the second, when I found the second I thought it was better waiting for the third. This is the third one, slight better than the others, just for Ed Lincoln fans and completionists.

This is Les 4 Cadillacs - Doucement, Mon Amour... (1962), for Masterpiece Master, Musidisc subsidiary, featuring Ed Lincoln at the piano and the other remain not credited Cadillacs at bass, drums and guitar. The quartet performs an easy listening repertoire based on American and French music. As I said before, this is fans and completionists stuff. Tracks include:

- As Time Goes By (H. Hupfeld)
- La Mer (Charles Trenet)
- You Belong To Meu (C. Price / R. Stewart / P. Weking)
- Marie Marie (Gilbert Bécaud / Delanoe)
- Melancolie (A. Romans)
- Oui Oui Oui (Cour / Giraud)
- Just One Of Those Things (Cole Porter)
- Ruby (H. Roemheld / M. Parish)
- My Foolish Heart (V. Young / N. Washington)
- Music Music Music (S. Weiss / B. Baum)
- You Stepped Out Of a Dream (N. H. Brown / Guskahn)
- Moon River (J. Mercer / Henry Mancini)
