Miltinho - Poema do Adeus (1962)

There was a time at Loronix where every month we had a new album recorded by one of the Samba interpreters that I like most, Milton Santos de Almeida or just Miltinho. I could not believe when Loronix Find It returned the last Miltinho album as of August 2007, it is almost a year and Miltinho needs to be back to Loronix first page immediately. Let's see.

This is Miltinho - Poema do Adeus (1962), for RGE, featuring Orquestra RGE with not credited maestro and musicians. Poema do Adeus is a very early Miltinho record, but is not an album recorded by a beginner. Since the 40's, Miltinho was an active artist, being member of renowned vocal groups, such like: Cancioneiros do Luar, Namorados da Lua, Anjos do Inferno and Quatro Ases e um Coringa. I'm taking advantage of the opportunity to replay a fantastic music video featuring Miltinho and Ed Motta, performing Meu Nome e Ninguem in the year of 2003. I forgot to say that Rildo Hora is the harmonica player. Tracks include:

- Poema do Adeus (Luis Antônio)
- Palhaçada (Haroldo Barbosa / Luis Reis)
- Estou Só (Raul Sampaio / Benil Santos)
- Fim de Parceria (Fernando César / Dalton Vogeler)
- A Canção Que Virou Você (Luis Antônio)
- Maldade (Jair Amorim / Evaldo Gouveia)
- Mulata Assanhada (Ataulfo Alves)
- Estrada do Amor (Luis Antônio)
- Solução (Raul Sampaio / Ivo Santos)
- E o Tempo Parou (Édson Borges)
- Perdoa Coração (Marino Pinto / Aloísio de Barros)
- Depois (Capiba / Thalma de Oliveira)
