Maria Odette - Festival da Musica Popular Brasileira (1966)

This single is very interesting for different reasons, first, by that cover artwork, more suitable for a film by Alfred Hitchcock. Second, the legendary label Mocambo and its first single at Loronix. Third, the opportunity to watch the video that probably gave the chance to make this little album, recorded during Festival da Musica Popular Brasileira Rede Record (1966). There are other interesting things to tell about this single, but it is better tell you in the next paragraph. Let's see.

This is Maria Odette - Festival da Musica Popular Brasileira (1966), for Mocambo, featuring Um Dia (Caetano Veloso) on Side A, which is the song that received the prize of the best lyrics on that Festival and Levante (Geraldo Vandre) on Side B. The video features Maria Odette performing Um Dia with the participation of Caetano Veloso at the audience with the camera delivering a lot of time with Caetano images instead of Maria Odette. Tracks include:

01 - Um Dia (Caetano Veloso)
02 - Levante (Geraldo Vandre)
