Hello, good evening! I had an intense and very busy day this Friday. I got rid of a lot of paper without any remorse. I could also setup my new working environment and made the fist transfer at my new place.
As nothing is perfect, this new disc cannot be shown today. Blame it on my Internet connection, limited to a maximum of 30Kbps upload speed.
Meanwhile, I found an album requested by many Loronix friends featuring an instrumental combo from Minas Gerais state. I'm keeping my original text written in August 2006. Let's see.
This is Tempo Trio - Tempo Trio (1965), for London, highly recommended by a very good friend of mine. Tracks include:
Personnel
Helvius Vilela
(piano)

Hello, good evening! It is wonderful to be back to Loronix. Thank you for keeping the community and the website alive during my absence. I hope you had quality time here at Loronix and also with your families and friends.
My move is finished and I have much to say about it. Despite almost 10 days since the beginning of the process, writing these lines today is a miracle. I'm enjoying my new place, important for me to be immediately assisted in episodes of hypoglycemia and other boring stuff.
My family was just myself and zecalouro and now we are a true family of 3 adults (my brother and wife) and his two sons, my nephews. Exciting things happened. As soon as he heard about my arrival, my nephew decided to take guitar classes and now plays very well with a few lessons.
The adaptation of zecalouro, a major concern in our new home was instantaneous. He now has the company of other 7 birds and 5 dogs. I cannot remember zeca facing a dog before, and now his favorite sport is riding around the yard mounted on the back of a Labrador.
Loronix IT infrastructure of the Loronix is not yet mounted in the new home. The move took all my money and I need to save some cash to hire an Internet connection and then setup the new environment.
This will be my priority in the coming days. For now, I'm just making albums previously prepared or contributions from our great friends, such like this one, kindly provided by Mr. E., featuring an important musician who never had the chance to be here. Let's see.
This is Gao - The Melodic Sound of Gao's Piano (1966), for London, featuring The Ipanema Strings, which is something that I would like very much to know more. The Ipanema Strings are not new to Loronix, they are also backing Neco at Neco's Guitar and The Ipanema Strings - Velvet Bossa Nova (1966), for the same London and released in the same 1966 year. My searches on The Ipanema Strings did not return consistent information. Perhaps someone can bring additional info on The Ipanema Strings at the comment section. Gao is a Brazilian maestro and pianist, active on recordings from the 1930's until the late 1960's, releasing several 78RPMs and a few albums in the "modern" 33RPM 12-inches LP format. Gao is a very old request made by several Loronix's friends that I'm very pleased to address, thanks to Mr. E. and his always cute transfers. Tracks include:
01 - Murmurando (Mário Rossi / Fon-Fon)
02 - Curare (Bororó)
03 - Apanhei-te Cavaquinho (Ernesto Nazareth)
04 - Flor de Abacate (A. Sandin)
05 - Naquele Tempo (Pixinguinha / Benedito Lacerda)
06 - Da Cor do Pecado (Bororó)
07 - Ai Yoyo (Linda Flor) (Henrique Vogeler)
08 - Saudade (Lauro Miranda)
09 - André de Sapato Novo (André Victor Correia)
10 - Carinhoso (Pixinguinha / João de Barro)
11 - Tenebroso (Ernesto Nazareth)
12 - Cabeludo (Gaó)
