If you were living in Brazil during 1979, you were probably the happy owner of this album. I remember to have mine, as well, every musical friend I had. There is a reason, this album features for the first time the legendary song Pra Nao Dizer que Nao Falei das Flores, performed by Geraldo Vandre under a stressing situation, he knew that military police was waiting to take him under arrest. This song was forbidden by the censorships since 1968 and this album brought it back to public after long 11 years.
This is Geraldo Vandre - Geraldo Vandre (1979), for Som Maior, a compilation of Geraldo Vandre career, featuring Pra Nao Dizer que Nao Falei das Flores, also known as Caminhando. This song has a real importance, being the anthem song against the regime. I heard or read in the past that "Caminhando" had participation on government decision to establish the AI-5, which is something that I will let friends discuss in comment section. Som Maior made changes in some songs, according with Geraldo Vandre advice, making this compilation worth checking out. Tracks include:
01 - Pra Não Dizer Que Não Falei das Flores (Caminhando) - Recorded Live
02 - Porta Estandarte
03 - Depois É Só Chorar
04 - Tristeza de Amar
05 - Réquiem Para Matraga
06 - Canção do Breve Amor
07 - Fica Mal Com Deus
08 - Rosa Flor
09 - Pequeno Concerto Que Virou Canção
10 - Se a Tristeza Chegar
11 - Canção Nordestina
12 - Ninguém Pode Mais Sofrer
13 - Quem Quiser Encontrar o Amor
14 - Pra Não Dizer Que Não Falei das Flores (Caminhando) - Studio Version

Varios Artistas - Carnaval | Rio Quatrocentao (1964)
Hello, Good Evening! Let's try to make some Samba today, starting with this one, not exactly the kind of Samba that we use to release on Saturdays, but an album that really worth, presenting us a style that was very popular in Brazilian carnaval that just disappeared since the 80's. I'm talking about Marchinhas de Carnaval, a kind of Carnaval song with simple lyrics (to make it popular very fast), humor and melodies that will infect your head after the first hearing. Let's see.
This is Carnaval | Rio Quatrocentao (1964), for Copacabana, featuring Copacabana cast performing Marchinhas for the 1965 Carnaval. Rio Quatrocentao features several artists that we never spoke about at Loronix, including Dora Lopes (coming soon with a solo LP provided by Mr. G.), Gilberto Alves, Walter Stuart, among others. Copacabana dedicated the best resources to deliver this album, including Altamiro Carrilho and Moacyr Silva as producers, Pachequinho, Pernambuco, Ivan Paulo and Washington Marinho as arranger and a constellation of musicians. This is the right pick for the friends who want to travel back to 1965 carnaval and also the ones who want to have a panorama of the Marchinha music. The download package includes additional and nice scans of internal material. Tracks include:

Tema Tres - Tema Tres (1966)
Hello, Good Evening! The weekend is approaching; friends are now home or celebrating with co-workers another successful working weekend. I confess that I would like very much to do the same, but something that was working for months decided to break today and this parrot is like a soldier, he never gives up. That's why I'm taking advantage of a more than necessary repost, the original link was down and now we have important upgrades on each aspect of this great album, one of the first contributions made by Caetano Rodrigues to Loronix. Let's see.
This is Tema Tres - Tema Tres (1966), for Atonal, which is the first album released by this important instrumental trio. Tema Tres delivers Samba Jazz renditions of Bossa Nova standards, a few international songs and two Gilson Peranzzetta compositions 07 - Tema Tres and 09 - Angela. Everything is upgrade including a missing back cover, Exact Audio Copy of FLAC files and improved MP3s. Tracks include:
Track List
01 - Tem Mais Samba
02 - Razão de Viver
03 - Call Me
04 - Alvorada
05 - Amanhã
06 - Cidade Vazia
07 - Tema Três
08 - Un Homme Et Une Femme
09 - Ângela
10 - Barra Limpa
11 - Felicidade Aconteceu
12 - See You in September

Billy Blanco - Historia da Musica Popular Brasileira Nr. 32 (1971)
I'm not sure that everybody will remember when I introduced Loronixers to a series of albums dedicated to Brazilian artists with Chico Buarque edition on Historia da Musica Popular Brasileira - Serie Grandes Compositores. You can check Chico Buarque album here.
Now it is time to get along with another series, which is my favorite, Historia da Musica Popular Brasileira, easily identified by this back cover. This series was released from 1970 to 1971 and it is very easy to find on old vinyl shops in Rio. Each edition comes with biography, beautiful color photos and something that is really great an LP in the 10-inch format featuring a compilation.
This is Billy Blanco - Historia da Musica Popular Brasileira Nr. 32 (1971), for Abril Cultural, featuring eight Billy Blanco compositions, performed by Lucio Alves, Isaura Garcia, Jorge Veiga, Doris Monteiro, Maysa, Jamelao, Wilson Simonal and Billy Banco. I think Billy Blanco choice is correct; he is a very important Bossa Nova artist with less than a few albums available at Loronix. Tracks include:
Track List
01 - Viva Meu Samba - Lucio Alves
02 - A Banca do Destino - Isaura Garcia
03 - Estatutos da Gafieira - Jorge Veiga
04 - Mocinho Bonito - Doris Monteiro
05 - Sinfonia do Rio de Janeiro - Jamelao & Maysa
06 - Camelo - Billy Blanco
07 - Piston de Gafieira - Jorge Veiga
08 - Rio meu Amor - Wilson Simonal

Paulinho da Costa - Paulinho da Costa (1984)
Hello, Good Evening! Let's start today with Paulinho da Costa, a successful Brazilian musician that made his whole career out of Brazil, setting in the US since 1973. Paulinho da Costa is a percussionist and a requested sideman, playing with Sergio Mendes, Dizzy Gillespie, Joe Pass, Herbie Hancock, Ella Fitzgerald, among many other renowned artists. Paulinho da Costa solo albums were recorded sporadically with some really hard to track down, just like this one. Let's see.
This is Paulinho da Costa - Paulinho da Costa (1984), for Columbia, featuring Abraham Laboriel, George Duke, Ernie Watts, among many others. Paulinho da Costa and group deliver a dancing album, such like the ones recorded by Sergio Mendes in the 70's and 80s, very well played. Look at Paulinho da Costa at this cover artwork; he is the kind of guy that seems to never have an headache or a bad day in his life. Tracks include:
Track List

05 - Groove
06 - Taj Mahal

Celeste - Laço de Cobra (1979)
If you were already a Loronixer in October 2006, you will easily remember this singer and the great feedback given to her debut LP, Celeste - Cinco e Triste da Manha (1978), for Tapecar. Since then, several friends are requesting another release. I admit that I loose my hope. In spite of being an acclaimed singer, with enthusiastic statements of Ricardo Cravo Albin, Joao Roberto Kelly and Joao Gilberto, who said she had one of the most beautiful voices he have ever heard, Celeste recorded only three albums in the late 70's and disappear from the mainstream.
However, Loronixers are very tuned with the wants and needs of our community, always surprising me. That's exactly what happened today, a couple of new great friends from Salvador, Bahia, sent this very hard to find album in the FLAC format. It is the first contribution in FLAC and a great addition to Loronix.
Let's say thank you to Gabriel and Sergio Benutti, these guys are respectable vinyl collectors in Salvador and also very knowledgeable on Jazz and Brazilian music. They run a website that is already available at our blogroll, the excellent SOJAZZ. You will spend hours there. SOJAZZ is available at www.sojazz.org.br.
This is Celeste - Laco de Cobra (1979), for Odeon, featuring the soulful Brazilian singer Celeste, supported by the arrangements of Geraldo Vespar and Helio Delmiro with production by Renato Correa and Geraldo Vespar. Take a special attention to tracks 04 - Saudade da Bahia and 08 - Procura-se, both written by a very early Rosa Passos. Thanks once again, Gabriel and Sergio Benutti. Tracks include:
01 - Laço de Cobra (Nilton Barros)
02 - Nanã (Moacir Santos / Mário Telles)
03 - Recado (Gonzaguinha)
04 - Saudade da Bahia (Fernando de Oliveira / Rosa Passos)
05 - Velho Arvoredo (Hélio Delmiro / Paulo César Pinheiro)
06 - Nos Horizontes do Mundo (Paulinho da Viola)
07 - Homenagem ao Malandro (Chico Buarque)
08 - Procura-se Um Samba (Fernando de Oliveira / Rosa Passos)
09 - Samba Dobrado (Djavan)
10 - Sampa (Caetano Veloso)
11 - Mandamento (Gisa Nogueira)
12 - A Primeira Vez (Alcebíades Barcelos "Bide" / Armando "Marçal")

Exposito e Sua Orquestra - Exposito '67 (1967)
I decided to put the "Para Dancar" style on hiatus and Loronixers started asking for more very soon. I think my estimates are wrong, there are many fans of the style and they are fanatic and really participative. It is time to make it again, specially this one with this cover that is all about the 60's decade. Let's see.
This is Exposito e Sua Orquestra - Exposito '67 (1967), for RCA Victor. In spite of being a very active artist in the 60's with many recordings released, this is only the second Exposito album at Loronix, the first one, Bossa with A Beat was a Caetano Rodrigues contribution and you can use Find It to take a look. Little I know about Exposito '67, the back cover does help on technical details, with the exception of this beautiful girl identification, Flavia. I'm wondering if Flavia is looking her nice photo, taken 40 years ago. Tracks include:
01 - The More I See You (H. Warren / M. Gordon)
02 - Love Me Please Love Me (M. Polnareff / F. Gerald)
03 - Disparada (Geraldo Vandré / Theo de Barros)
04 - Strangers In The Night (Kaempfert / Singleton / Snyder)
05 - California Dreamin' (J. Philips / M. Philips)
06 - The Shadow Of Your Smile (Mandel / Paul Francis Webster)
07 - O Carango (Carlos Imperial / Nonato Buzar)
08 - Fly Me To The Moon (B. Howard)
09 - Here There And Everywhere (John Lennon / Paul McCartney)

Zimbo Trio - Fianca (1981)
There is a story behind this post. I received this album from a guy who lives in my building, by the way, a well-known musician. I did not take it from his hands; he puts on an envelope at the lobby. When I open the envelope I saw this enigmatic logo with the white background and no words. I just left behind, deciding to give a chance to understand what it was later.
However, the symbol had something strange, looking familiar, as I had the chance to see it many times before. The answer came this week when I was visiting the website of our good friend Justin. Take a look at Justin logo, here or as a thumbnail in the left. Very wise of Justin to turn it upside down making this "F" as a "J".
After this whole story, it was the time to check the LP again to learn more about this symbol and it was a great surprise to understand that "F" belongs to a Brazilian company called Fianca and the album was Fianca Christmas gift recorded by Zimbo Trio.
This is Zimbo Trio - Fianca (1981), for Fianca. Little I know about this company and this album, but seems to me it is Zimbo Trio - FM Stereo, released in 1974 with some modifications, there are five tracks not listed on FM Stereo. I would like to have both albums to check if the common tracks are from the same 1974 session or different. Anyway, it is a Zimbo Trio LP that I did not know it was recorded. Thanks to my mysterious neighbor. Tracks include:
01 - Esse Cara
02 - Na Tonga da Mironga do Kabulete (*)
03 - Cotidiano Nr. 2 (*)
04 - Trem das Onze
05 - Se e Pecado Sambar

Os Velhinhos Transviados - Embalados (1965)
Jamil is a really good friend, he understood I was busy and in the same second sent to us this album. Jamil was not alone; he had the help of Chubb, which is someone that I don't know. Jamil made the music and Chubb the cover scans. Jamil is a big fan of Os Velhinhos Transviados, he says that every fan likes to see their favorite artists at Loronix. Thanks Jamil and thanks Chubb.
This is Os Velhinhos Transviados - Embalados (1965), for RCA Victor. This band was very popular in the 60's, with many recording released throughout the decade. In spite of their popularity, Os Velinhos Transviados albums are not easy to find. Embalados has the same successful formula of previous releases, funny cover artwork and instrumental music with a touch of comedy. Personnel is not listed, except Ze Menezes, guitarist and Os Velhinhos Transviados leader. Tracks include:
01 - Na Onda do Berimbau (Oswaldo Nunes)
02 - What'd I Say (Ray Charles)
03 - Você (Roberto Menescal / Ronaldo Bôscoli)
04 - Road Hog (O Calhambeque) (Gwen / J. D. Loudermilk)
05 - Do Que Eu Gosto Mais (Rolando Boldrin)
06 - O Que Queres Tu de Mim (Evaldo Gouveia / Jair Amorim) From Russia With Love (L. Bart) Obsesion (Pedro Flores)

Conjunto 7 de Ouros - Impacto (1964)
Hello, Good Evening! I'm really busy tonight with some really important calls scheduled. I like to make things under pressure. In spite of this busy night, the show will not stop at Loronix. Let's start great tonight, making a necessary update on one of the first Caetano Rodrigues contribution to our community, in response of a long time request of bossanovadreamer.
This is Conjunto 7 de Ouros - Impacto! (1964), for Polydor, a anthological Brazilian instrumental music album, featuring several renowned Samba and Choro musicians delivering a overwhelming blend of Jazz, Bossa and Samba. There are major upgrades on music and cover artwork. Surprisingly, Myrzo Barroso sings on track 10 - Meu Pranto, which is something that I did not noticed the first time it was released at Loronix. Maestro Cipo, Jose Marinho, Julinho and K-Ximbinho are in charge of arrangements. Tracks include:

Quarteto em Cy - Resistindo (1977)
Mr. G., my personal Quarteto em Cy consultant, prepared last year a list of albums by the girls that should not be out of Loronix. I know the list by heart and this one is part of Mr. G. essentials. I miss Mr. G. briefing on this album, recorded live in December (1976) at Teatro Fonte da Saudade in Rio de Janeiro and I did not find Resistindo studio release. It is also the first "live" album I heard from Quarteto em Cy and the girls deliver a nice work. Let's see.
This is Quarteto em Cy - Resistindo (1977), for Philips. I think the strength of Resistindo is the reduced accompaniment supporting Quarteto em Cy; there is no orchestra or brass section, just traditional bass, drums, guitar and piano, in charge of top-notch musicians, including the excellent Zeca on drums. I hope Mr. G., comes later with additional info and his personal highlights to Resistindo. Tracks includes:
Track List
01 - Eu Vim da Bahia (Gilberto Gil) Filhos de Gandhi (Gilberto Gil)
02 - Viola Violar (Milton Nascimento / Márcio Borges)
03 - Capricho (Francis Hime / Castro Alves) Memória (Alcyvando Luz / Carlos Drummond de Andrade)
04 - Samambaias (Maurício Tapajós / Hermínio Bello de Carvalho)

06 - Resistindo (João Bosco / Aldir Blanc)
07 - O Rancho da Goiabada (João Bosco / Aldir Blanc)

Radames Gnattali - Radames Gnattali e a Musica Popular (1990)
Here we go on another album where classical music touches popular music. This kind of albums, such like yesterday's Maria Lucia Godoy, Turibio Santos and others, started on Loronix less than a few months ago. For my initial surprise, they are very popular and downloaded much more than my best estimates. Additionally, our community requests a lot works from Maestro Radames Gnattali and that's what we have here, a tribute album to Radames Gnattali never released commercially. Let's see.
This is Radames Gnattali e a Musica Popular (1990), produced by Kuarup for the oil & gas company Atlantic, a tribute to Radames Gnattali featuring Orquestra de Cordas Brasileira, Joao Carlos Assis Brasil, Chiquinho do Acordeon and Beto Cazes, released two years before Radames Gnattali passing. The repertoire brings Radames Gnattali compositions, with track 05 - Sarau pra Radames (Paulinho da Viola) as the exception. Side A features individual performances (as indicated on track list) and side B has a Radames Gnattali accordion concert, performed by Chiquinho do Acordeon, Beto Cazes and Orquestra de Cordas Brasileiras. Tracks include:
Track List
01 - Remexendo - Orquestra de Cordas Brasileiras
02 - Maneirando - João Carlos Assis Brasil
03 - Amargura - Orquestra de Cordas Brasileiras / Chiquinho do Acordeom 04 - Negaceando - João Carlos Assis Brasil
05 - Sarau Pra Radamés - Orquestra de Cordas Brasileiras
06 - Concerto Para Acordeom Tamboras e Cordas - Allegro Moderato - Adagio - Aria Com espírito "Prenda minha" - Chiquinho do Acordeom / Beto Cazes / Orquestra de Cordas Brasileiras.

This is a wonderful video made by our friends, Mercedez, Swingbossa, Marylee and Janeth. What do they have in common? They are Loronixers and they love Brazilian music. They perform Upa Neguinho and I hope they don't mind their video at Loronix, I could not resist, is an amazing. Anyway, this is just to create some excitement to a new thing to be announced soon this week at Loronix. Thanks for this one Mercedez, Swingbossa, Marylee and Janeth!

Sacha Distel - Un Amour, Un Sourire, Une Fleur (1975)
I decided to move this fantastic Caetano Rodrigues contribution to make this album more visible. Some friends could not find it and it is reposted exactly how it was done last year, no upgrades this time, just to help new friends.
Thank you!
This is what I call "perfect happiness": sun, guitar playing and the barquinho. Who wants to be like Sacha Distel? Everybody. Thanks to Caetano Rodrigues for this nice release, Sacha Distel - Un Amour, Un Sourire, Une Fleur (1975), for EMI. Sach Distel is a French male singer that started at the age of 16 as a professional jazz guitarrist. Over his career he worked with some legends such as: Dizzy Gillespie and Tony Bennet, being established since the late 50's as a crooner.
I admit that I never had the chance to hear Sacha Distel and I'm enjoying a lot the way he sings Bossa Nova tunes with the French accent, good combination. Un Amour, Un Sourire, Une Fleur has arrangements from Raymond Gimenes. With this crazy computer crash, I did not have time to research if this LP was recorded in Brazil or France. Let's our Loronix friends from France share their knowledge this time. Tracks include:
01 - Deixa
02 - Agua de Beber
03 - The Girl from Ipanema
04 - Dindi
05 - Corcovado
06 - Je Crois Qu'On S'Aime
07 - Meditacao
08 - Voce Abusou
09 - Insensatez
10 - Susis Moi
11 - Medlley Orfeu Negro
Thank you!

Varios Artistas - Um Milhao por Uma Cancao (1963)
Hello, Good Evening! I want to start today showing an album requested a long time ago by a friend, a compilation with the finalist of a very popular songwriting contest sponsored by a Brazilian TV in 1963, known as Um Milhao por Uma Cancao, which I'm free translating as "One Million for a Song". The organization of this contest received 5,000 songs, with 86 selected on a shortlist and then submitted to popular evaluation. This album features the 12 finalists. Let's see.
This is Um Milhao por Uma Cancao (1963), for Philips, featuring the 12 finalists of Um Milhao por Uma Cancao songwriting contest. It is amazing that my searches did not result on the winner song and the respective order. The songs were performed by renowned artists of the early 60's and the 12 tunes are how can I say, excessive romantic songs, you know what I mean.
Several Brazilian arrangers gave their collaboration to the finalists songs, such as: Pachequinho, Nelsinho, Ted Moreno, Guarana, Carlos Monteiro de Souza, Moacir Santos, Astor Silva, Lindolfo Gaya, Oswaldo Borba, Darcy Barbosa and Hugo Marrota with the finalists backed by orchestra in charge of Maestro Oswaldo Borba. Tracks Include:
Track List
01 - Uma Canção Por Um Milhão (Luis Antônio) - Helena de Lima
02 - Longe de Você (Ary Barroso / Luis Peixoto) - Cauby Peixoto
03 - Se Todo o Amor do Mundo (Álvaro Santos) - Elza Laranjeira
04 - Mais Que Todo o Amor (Fernando César / Leal Brito) - Golden Boys
05 - Pequeno Sol (Sergio Napp) - Hebe Camargo
06 - Tudo Que Sonhei (Ribamar / Toni Vestane) - Helena de Lima
07 - Meu Bem (Glauco Pereira / Fernando Pereira) - Agnaldo Rayol
08 - Sempre Te Amarei (Sergio Malta) - Dalva de Oliveira

11 - Quem Viu Gostar Assim (Fernando César / Leal Brito) - Helena de Lima
12 - Quando Foi (Orlando Henriques) - Elza Laranjeira

Maria Lucia Godoy - Maria Lucia Godoy Canta Poemas de Manuel Bandeira (1968)
Since the Brazilian classical singer Maria Lucia Godoy was introduced to Loronixers with O Canto da Amazonia, a tribute to Amazon Rainforest recorded in 1969, I have been receiving emails and comments requesting more music from Maria Lucia Godoy. I thought it would not be easy to find another album, but lucky has been on my side, for the happiness of our community.
This is Maria Lucia Godoy - Maria Lucia Godoy Canta Poemas de Manuel Bandeira (1968), for MIS, a tribute to Manuel Bandeira (* 1886 + 1968), a renowned writer, considered by many as the best Brazilian poet of the last century. Manuel Bandeira released more than 20 books of poetry, translated to several languages.
Maria Lucia Godoy is backed Murillo Santos at the piano and was once again in charge of repertoire selection, featuring Manuel Bandeira poems with music by Heitor Villa Lobos, Jaime Ovalle, Francisco Mignone, Gianfrancesco Guarnieri, Lorenzo Fernandes, Jose Siqueira and Edino Krieger. She did it again, this is a very beautiful album that has something very important in common with O Canto da Amazonia; both are all about Brazil, from the start until the end. Tracks include:
01 - Dança do Martelo (Manuel Bandeira / Villa-Lobos)
02 - Modinha (Manuel Bandeira / Villa-Lobos)
03 - O Anjo da Guarda (Manuel Bandeira / Villa-Lobos)
04 - Azulão (Manuel Bandeira / Jaime Ovalle)
05 - Modinha (Manuel Bandeira / Jaime Ovalle)
06 - Dona Janaina (Manuel Bandeira / Francisco Mignone)
07 - Pousa a Mão na Minha Testa (Manuel Bandeira / Francisco Mignone)
08 - O Menino Dorme (Manuel Bandeira / Francisco Mignone)
09 - Impossível Carinho (Manuel Bandeira / Gianfrancesco Guarnieri)
10 - Canção do Mar (Manuel Bandeira / Lorenzo Fernandez)
11 - Madrigal (Manuel Bandeira / José Siqueira)
12 - Desafio (Manuel Bandeira / Edino Krieger)

Andre Penazzi - Orgao Samba Percussao Vol. 2 (1963)
Hello, Good Evening! Let's start addressing a request from friends who shout for Audio Fidelity albums and for Andre Penazzi LPs. I'm addressing both with Andre Penazzi recording for Audio Fidelity, a label that has a value proposition and really excels in terms of recording quality. First, I have to admit that syringe is very disturbing and I could only understand that it is a graphic representation of something Audio Fidelity calls as "Doctored for Super-Sound" a couple of weeks ago. Let's see.
This is Andre Penazzi - Orgao Samba Percussao Vol. 2 (1963), for Audio Fidelity. In fact, this vinyl has a very good output. It is also funny to read the back cover, with a lot of technical information on recording engineering wrote by Sidney Frey, Audio Fidelity president and only a tiny box describing the main performer, Andre Penazzi. Anyway, I recommend this one, so far the best album I heard by the Brazilian organist Andre Penazzi. Tracks include:
01 - O Apito no Samba (Luis Bandeira / Luis Antônio)
02 - Zelão (Sergio Ricardo)
03 - A Tua Vida É Um Segredo (Lamartine Babo)
04 - Samba Em Prelúdio (Baden Powell / Vinicius de Moraes)
05 - Se Acaso Você Chegasse (Lupicínio Rodrigues / Felisberto Martins)
06 - Tamanco no Samba (Orlann Divo / Hélton Menezes)
07 - Eu Não Tenho Onde Morar (Dorival Caymmi)
08 - Agora É Cinza (Alcebíades Barcelos "Bide" / Armando "Marçal")
09 - Menino Desce Daí (Paulinho Nogueira)
10 - Tem Bobo Pra Tudo (João Correia da Silva / Manoel Brigadeiro)
11 - Implorar (Kid Pepe / Germano Augusto / Gaspar)
12 - Na Cadência do Samba (Ataulfo Alves / Paulo Gesta)

Os Cariocas - Passaporte (1966)
I'm finishing today with a mandatory repost, requested by many friends. The last album had problems, including a missing track. zecalouro's mother spent a time today here and brought this album. You should thank her; she is a great finder sometimes. The music and cover artwork are upgraded, including FLAC files alternative. I will keep part of my original writing to keep the reference to the legendary JimR, he asked for this album in the first hour he came to our community.
This is Os Cariocas - Passaporte (1966), for Polydor, in attention of a new Loronixer from the United States, JimR, a serious Bossa Nova collector. He asked for Passaporte as the only one missing from his Os Cariocas collection. Passaporte landmarks the last LP before the group went to a recording hiatus of long 24 years, interrupted in 1990 with the with the recording of a CD, Minha Namorada. Tracks include:

Les 4 Cadillacs - Doucement Novamente (1961)
I will never do this thing again, I said I had three albums from this Ed Lincoln's group Les 4 Cadillacs and would make only one at Loronix. Since then, I received many emails from friends asking for the others. Ed Lincoln fans are really focused, even when Ed Lincoln is not performing with organ using his own artistic name. Let's see how this one performs.
This is Les 4 Cadillacs - Doucement Novamente (1961), for Musidisc, following the same formula we knew at Doucement, Mon Amour, Ed Lincoln at the piano with not credited musicians playing an easy-listening repertoire of international music. There is an important difference; each side approaches a different continent. Side A brings rendition to Americas with songs from Brazil, United States, Cuba, Mexico, Paraguay and Argentina, while Side B brings Europe, featuring songs from Germany, Italy, URSS, France, Portugal and Spain. Liner notes written by Sebastiao Fonseca also refers the name of Jean Pacques. I could not understand why and I hope someone explains it. Tracks include:
01 - Sweet Melody (Jean Paques) - I Could Have Danced All Night (A. J. Lerner / F. Loewe)
02 - Canção de Amor Cubano (H. Stothart / J. McHugh / D. Fields) - Cubanacan (M. Simons)
03 - Chove Lá Fora (Tito Madi) - Se Todos Fossem Iguais a Você (Tom Jobim / Vinicius de Moraes)
04 - Recuerdos de Ypacarai (Demetrio Ortiz / Z. Mirkin) - Índia (José Asunción Flores / Manuel Ortiz Guerrero)
05 - Besame Mucho (Consuelo Velasquez) - Amoe Amor Amor (Gabriel Ruiz / R. L. Mendes)
06 - El Dia En Qu Me Quieras (Carlos Gardel / Alfredo Le Pera) - Jealousie (J. Gade)
07 - Moritat (Meck The Knife) (Kurt Weill / Bertold Brecht) - Liechtensteiner Polka (E. Kotscher / R. Lind)
08 - Tua (G. Malgoni / B. Pallesi) - Mama (Collazo)
09 - Olhos Negros (Tradicional) - Noites de Moscou (I. Dunayevsky)
10 - C'est Si Bom (H. Betti / A. Hornez) - Mon Oncle (F. Barcellini / H. Contet / J. C. Carrieri)
11 - Canção do Mar (Ferrer Trindade / F. de Brito) - Sempre Que Lisboa Canta (Carlos Rocha / Aníbal Nazareth)
12 - La Violetera (J. Padilla / E. Montesinos) - Madrid (Agustin Lara) - Sweet Melody (Jean Paques)
