zecalouro had to make some kind of homework to introduce this LP to Loronixers. This is Corisco e os Sambaloucos - Outro Show de Bossa (1963). A great instrumental LP, rich and full of unusual percussion instruments and some other surprises, such as: violins and the Brazilian berimbau.
The man in charge of this group is Waldemar Marchetti aka Corisco and Sambaloucos is Heraldo do Monte (guitar), Dirceu (drums), Antipático e Radamanto (percussion), Ditinho e Gagliardi (trombone), Bolão e Piper (sax), Hamilton (piano), L. Chaves (bass), Maguinho (piston) e Lambari (sax).
Corisco and Sambaloucos were active from 1962 to 1967, releasing a couple of LPs that are sought by every serious Brazilian Jazz fans and collectors. zecalouro is very curious about your findings. Tracks include:
