Tita - Tita (1965)

Another great Loronixer collaboration, a most wanted and a must see a must get LP. This is Tita - Tita (1965). The name is short but the music is huge.

I will be staightforward this time, closing this amazing post giving credits to Cesar Saldanha, which is a great guy who made everything possible to scan this awesome cover on a very good quality. Cesar, this is for you, keep rolling. You are the man! Tracks include:

    It is very hard to track down information about this great album.

    My hope it is to count with the great Loronix community to gather additional information about it.

    I have a special curiosity about the personnel on the set, simply great.

    Hello, maybe I have found something : it may be tita lobo. Here is an interview where she speaks about a record recorded for Polydor in 1964. Arrangements would be then by Eumir Deodato, Lindolfo Gaya and Paulo Moura.

    Tita Lobo and her husband (or maybe he is her brother, in fact I don't know) then recorded one record in France

    Of course this is Tita Lobo. Her later LP`s were reissued by Whatmusic.
    Her Barclay LP with the Trio Camara
    is very rare. Superflyrecords sold this record for $270.
    Has anybody this LP to put it at Loronix? This would be great.

    Tita é uma cantora e compositora completa e complexa.
    Pena que nesse disco só tenha uma composição sua.
    O Edson Lobo é uma referência como baixista.
    Costumava assisti-los no Skylab, do Othon.
    Uma curiosidadezinha...
    O Helder Camara, parceiro do Sergio Malta em "Ficou Saudade", não é o Cardeal! É campeão brasileiro de xadrez e boêmio, figura das nossas noites da antiga Copacabana. E adjacências.
