This is Elizeth Cardoso - A Meiga Elizeth Vol. 2 (1961), for Copacabana. Back cover brings "Elizeth Cardoso e Conjunto", unfortunately there is no complimentary info on members of this conjunto. Someone said also that Walter Wanderley takes part on albums from this series as a not credit musician, but I will leave this identification task to specialists, although I'm quite sure of it. Moacyr Silva sax tenor can be heard in most of the tracks and this is guaranteed. Tracks include:
01 - Deixa Andar (Jujuba)
02 - Revelação (Pernambuco / Marino Pinto)
03 - Moeda Quebrada (Luis Reis / Haroldo Barbosa)
04 - Ninguém Sabe de Nós (Moacyr Silva / Antônio Maria)
05 - Esmola (João Roberto Kelly)
06 - Meu Amanhã (Roberto Menescal / Aloysio de Oliveira)
07 - Tudo É Magnífico (Luis Reis / Haroldo Barbosa)
08 - Seu Olhar (Laís Antunes)
09 - Vagalumeando (Paulo Roberto)
10 - Nossa Vez de Amar (Toso Gomes / Manoel da Conceição)
11 - Cansei de Ilusões (Tito Madi)
12 - A Flor do Amor (Joluz / Waltel Branco)

Elizeth don't need "quality seal" as you said, her voice is much more than any qualities you can comment.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous,
ReplyDeleteElizeth doesn't need it, I agree. I said that Moacyr Silva touch puts the quality seal on everything he makes.
Cheers, zeca
