Varios Artistas - Um Piano ao Cair da Tarde Vol. 1 | Internacional (1978)

Hello, good evening! Let's start making the day of instrumental music lovers and fans of the legendary Eldorado, which is a Brazilian record label dedicated to instrumental music. Eldorado was active from 1981 until the early 90's, releasing several influential albums, some of them already available at Loronix, such as the last album recorded by K-Ximbinho, among many others. In addition from artist solo releases, Eldorado also released a very famous series called "Um Piano ao Cair da Tarde" with national and international music, always performed by Brazilian artists. Let's see.

This is Um Piano ao Cair da Tarde Vol. 1 | Internacional (1978), for Eldorado, featuring piano solo renditions of international standards by Dick Farney, Jose Alves, Felix Wagner and Amilton Godoy, Zimbo Trio pianist. Amilton Godoy has the very good company of Rubens Barsotti (drums) and Luiz Chaves (bass), which is in fact Zimbo Trio, performing international standards, get the chance to hear three Zimbo Trio tracks never released on any other record.     Thanks for posting this recording that contains some rare Zimbo Trio. One point: Yardbird Suite is by Charlie Parker. Perhaps Semblence is by Keith Jarrett?

  2. Zeca, esse trabalho é colagem de gravaçoes ja feitas ou esquecidas em arquivos. As duas primeiras encontram-se em Piano ao cair da Tarde, vols 1 e 2. Nem por isso despreziveis, absolutamente.

  3. Actually, Charlie Parker should be credited as composer of "Yardbird Suite," not Keith Jarrett. (Assuming it's the commonly accepted Jazz standard.)

  5. Este disco se trata de uma pérola, pois contém as raras gravações solo de Felix Wagner, que é um dos melhores pianistas que já ouvi em vida.Soube que ele setá em Berlim, foi sidemen de alguns jazzistas europeus e sumiu!

    Mas talvez você tenha que fazer alguns ajustes, ou aumentando a resolução do seu monitor para um valor mínimo de 1024 x 768, ou então diminuindo um pouco o tamanho da letra (fonte) do seu navegador (browser).
