Carlos Poyares - Revendo com a Flauta os Bons Tempos do Chorinho (1977)

Hello, good evening! It is a shame that Loronix does not have a career LP recorded by the Brazilian Choro legend Carlos Poyares, a very important musician with several albums recorded and countless participations as sideman on many other recordings. I realize this fault yesterday night when working on a list of Brazilian musicians being prepared for the project Musicos do Brasil: Uma Enciclopedia and decided to make it as soon as possible, opening the music tonight. Let's see.

This is Carlos Poyares - Revendo com a Flauta os Bons Tempos do Chorinho (1977), for Eldorado, the first album released by this legendary Brazilian label, dedicated to instrumental music. Carlos Poyares started his career as flutist of Regional do Canhoto, being also an actor in the 60's, always performing as flutist in almost nine films. Carlos Poyares dedicated his entire professional career to the Choro genre. Carlos Poyares left us very recently in 2004, at the age of 76. Tracks include:

  2. Caro Zeca,
