Dick Farney Trio - Concerto de Jazz Ao Vivo (1973)

JOAO-SP sent us this great Dick Farney album, a missing piece on Dick Farney discography at Loronix. Here we have Dick Farney as pianist, not as a singer, performing renditions of international standards. I could not identify where this recording session took place, but my best guess it was at Auditorio do Globo, since the photos are credited to O Globo, a newspaper based in Rio de Janeiro. By the way, it is unbelievable that all Dick Farney career albums are not available commercially. Let's see.

If you are in the mood of listening a Jazz concert, featuring three great musicians performing a repertoire of standards with lots of improvisations, this is the album you were waiting for.
