Sergio Endrigo - Exclusivamente Brasil (1979)

Hello, good evening! This is the first in a series of contributions made by a new friend of our community, Gabriele, a sincere Brazilian music lover and also an expert on computers, he taught me to transfer files using a technology that I did not know, very good indeed. It is not necessary to say that Gabriele lives in Italy and his contributions make the connection between Brazilian and Italian music, such this first, featuring a Sergio Endrigo album recorded in Brazil with Brazilian musicians, special guests and tunes. Let's see.

This is Sergio Endrigo - Exclusivamente Brasil (1979), for Philips, with the special guests Vinicius de Moraes, Toquinho, Fafa de Belem and Chico Buarque de Hollanda. The session was held in Rio de Janeiro and Philips did not credited musicians, Pena Froes, Perinho Albuquerque and Luiz Roberto from Os Cariocas are in charge of arrangements. Gabriele delivers lossless audio with high-quality cover scans of front and back cover. Bravo! Tracks include:

01 - Samba Para Endrigo (Toquinho / Vinicius de Moraes) with Toquinho e Vinicius
02 - Café da Manhã (Roberto Carlos / Erasmo Carlos)
03 - Trocando Em Miúdos (Chico Buarque / Francis Hime)
04 - A Noite do Meu Bem (Dolores Duran)
05 - Onde Anda Você (Vinicius de Moraes / Hermano Silva)
06 - Carinhoso (Pixinguinha / João de Barro)
07 - A Rosa (Chico Buarque) with Chico Buarque
08 - Samba Em Prelúdio (Baden Powell / Vinicius de Moraes) with Fafá de Belém
09 - Ana Luisa (Tom Jobim)
10 - Morena do Mar (Dorival Caymmi)
11 - João e Maria (Chico Buarque / Sivuca)
12 - Morena Flor (Toquinho / Vinicius de Moraes)

  2. Thanks, Zeca, for your encouragement! So, so noticed the consequences of your work at rateyourmusic.com? ;-)

Since you asked me to give you a feedback - have you checked the pre-amp? Is it a question on MM or MC (Moving magnet / Moving coil) pick-up ?
Sérgio's is another album that's too loud. And it's a wonderful album. Just wrote the review at RYM.

    Kind regards,
