An interested break with this album. We learn every day new things here at Loronix. In a meeting with Durval Ferreira last year we spoke about the Musidisc label and I learned in the last months how big the Musisisc catalog really is .It seems it is a never ending list. For example I never saw this album before, too.
ReplyDeleteMany thanks to the grande Caetano
Best wishes
Thanks! A million thanks. Each day is Caetano's day. And this is "my favorite thing"!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, does a brasilian musician have ever recorded, in his own manner, the famous standard magnified by John Coltrane? Maybe it exists in the Musidisc catalog?
do I have to mention how great this cover is? No!
ReplyDeleteOutstanding! I love these & other American classics interpreted by Brazilian artists. Just goes to show how great these compositions were, especially in the hands of international artists. Love the wordless vocalizing also. Very groovy. My favorite cut on the LP is definitely Brigas Nunca Mais.
ReplyDeleteYou & Caetano never cease to amaze. Wow!
PS Great cover too
