Bezerra da Silva represents the Carioca Malandragem (malice) of the favelas. His lyrics chronicle the violence, drugs and the daily life of people who lives on the hills. I always thought this album was a compilation with the "Best of" Bezerra da Silva, since most of the songs are very popular. I was wrong, this is a regular Bezerra da Silva career album, featuring well-known songs such like Malandragem da um Tempo, Quem usa Antena e Televisao, Maloca o Flagrante, among others.
