Hello, good evening! I would like to share an album that has been requested by many friends since the beginning of Loronix, which is perhaps the first album recorded in Brazil following this concept of summarizing the main songs of an artist career with the help of special guests, a very common practice today. Everybody says this one has something special and I totally agree. The repertoire is great and the guests that Erasmo Carlos joined in this session are much more than regular special guests. Let's see.
This is Erasmo Carlos - Convida (1980), for Polydor, Bringing twelve Erasmo Carlos compositions, most of them written in partnership with Roberto Carlos. Together, the duo forms one of the most successful composer partnerships of Brazilian popular music. Roberto Carlos opens the show and is followed by renowned artists, with some others that were in evidence only on that period; such like As Freneticas and A Cor do Som. This is a solid and really pleasant listen that has been out of print for many years. Tracks include:
