Emilio Santiago - Feito para Ouvir (1977)

Hello, good evening! It has been a long time since we spoke for the last time, then it's time to talk a little about several things that are happening around our community. To begin, I would like to apologize AdHoc for skipping his new collaboration due small technical problems from my side. I would also like to welcome several brand new friends that are reaching Loronix for the first time referred by Bing, a new and very good search engine by Microsoft. Loronix is very well positioned at Bing and this is really nice.

Another nice thing is a new referrer campaign created by Rapidshare, which is now giving Loronix a small percentage of every sale of Rapidshare accounts purchased using this link. It is very simple. When you purchase or renew your Rapidshare account, follow this link and Loronix is automatically rewarded with a small but very important commission based on the money you spend with them. Don't forget this link, please.

And to close, I would like to say that the unplanned and not communicated slow pace of updates is now over. From now one, we will have at least 1 new release every two days and that is something that makes me feel great. It is important to get close again with friends and the awesome past of Brazilian music. I'm back. Let's see.

This is Emilio Santiago - Feito para Ouvir (1977), for Philips, featuring Emilio Santiago on his early and acclaimed initial career LPs. Such like Erasmo Carlos - Convida, Feito para Ouvir is a very old demand made by several Loronix friends. It is the third album recorded by Emilio Santiago and according to specialists, landmarks the end of his best years before making his commercially oriented releases. Philips made a great job providing personnel information at the back cover, and we have a constellation of Brazilian musicians in this session. Tracks include:

  2. I find this one a little slow after "Comigo É Assim". He bounces back with Emilio [1978 Philips] & O Canto Crescente de Emilio Santiago [1979 Polygram] though.

  4. Grato por postar esse disco, Zeca, e pela sua volta. Na minha opinião a música "Última Forma" define completamente a arte de Emílio Santiago (pena que depois ele optou pelas "aquarelas em série"). E que acompanhantes!

  5. If I were to tell a joke about this recording, I can imagine Emilio laying in his bed while doing this session. He sounds so relaxed & the material is so laid-back. I hope you find this funny?
