The Girls from Bahia - Revolucion con Brasilia (1968)

Straightforward, The LP The Girls from Bahia - Revolucion con Brasilia (1968) is a Quarteto em Cy LP. Quarteto em Cy adopted this name when the girls moved to US in 1967. Perhaps this strategy has failed since they have recorded in US by Warner just this LP. During their stay, Quarteto em Cy changed their repertoire to American standards versions and adapted English lyrics of Antonio Carlos Jobim and other major Brazilian composers.

After this international experience - probably very badly produced since the Spanish title was a big error - Cynara and Cybele left the group. This is a very curious and hard to find release. Tracks include:

- Berimbau (Baden Powell / Vinicius de Moraes / Version Gilbert)
- Tem Mais Samba (Chico Buarque)
- Edmundo (In The Mood) (Garland)
- Laia Ladaia (Reza) (Edu Lobo / Ruy Guerra / Version Norman Gimbel)
- I Live To Love You (Morrer de Amor) (Oscar Castro Neves / Luvercy Fiorini / Version Gilbert)
- The Sunny Side Of The Street (Fields / McHugh)
- Road To Nowhere (Blanco / Oliveira)
- The Old Piano Roll Blues (Coben)
- The Day It Rained (Ferreira / Camargo / Vrs. Gilbert)
- E Nada Mais (Durval Ferreira / Luis Fernando Freire)
- Manhattan (Rodgers / Hart)
- Dindi (Tom Jobim / Aloysio de Oliveira / Version Gilbert)
- Parade (A Banda) (Chico Buarque / Version B. Russell)
