Elizeth Cardoso - O Inverno do Meu Tempo (1979)

Hello, good evening! I was busy tonight, working on new features to Loronix, which is an update and a complete redesign of our album search application, Loronix Find it. I like to develop new things to Loronix. It is very important to improve Loronix on regular basis. It is also very fun to make such things. So fun, I miss the time for this update. By the way, a required upgrade of a really solid album released in the end of 2006, and recorded by one of my favorite singers, Elizeth Cardoso. Let’s see.

This is Elizeth Cardoso – O Inverno do Meu Tempo (1979), for Som Livre, featuring Elizeth Cardoso backed by a breathtaking cast of musicians, including Baden Powell performing his composition Velho Amigo on track 11. It is fantastic how Elizeth Cardoso delivers an above the average performance in such period of her career. She seems to be always in control of everything, from the repertoire to musicians she gathers to recording sessions. I’m tired to research, but I cannot remember a CD reissue of this classic album.
