I will never get tired or satisfied with Brazilian organists. It is unanimous that Walter Wanderley is some steps above, but the whole organist crew is all great. This is a brand new one at Loronix, meet Eduardo Costa - Apresentando Eduardo Costa e Seu Conjunto (1965), for CBS.
Once again, bio information on Eduardo Costa is restricted to recordings and personnel information. Eduardo released a second LP for Rozenblit that seems to be his second and last release. Eduardo Costa e Seu Conjunto is Eduardo Costa (organ), Ezequiel Silva (acoustic guitar), Antônio Carlos de Campos "Cacau" (drums), Mauro Herrero (percussion) and Vasco Assis (bass). Tracks include:
01 - Mulata Dengosa (Tuca / Consuelo de Castro)
02 - Balança Menina (Renato Correia / Donaldson Gonçalves)
03 - Tardinha (Luis Roberto / Luis Vergueiro / Fulvio Stefanini)
04 - A Minha Namorada (Carlos Lyra / Vinicius de Moraes)
05 - Vivo Sonhando (Tom Jobim)
06 - Você (Roberto Menescal / Ronaldo Bôscoli)
07 - Reza (Edu Lobo / Ruy Guerra)
08 - Fica Mal Com Deus (Geraldo Vandré)
09 - Balanço da Criança (César Roldão Vieira)
10 - Samba de Verão (Marcos Valle / Paulo Sergio Valle)
11 - Enquanto a Tristeza Não Vem (Sergio Ricardo)
12 - Inútil Paisagem (Tom Jobim / Aloysio de Oliveira)

There seems to be Eduardo & Seu Conjunto/Fernando & Seu Conjunto - Uma Noite No 706 [1977 Philips] too.
Hi, Zeca!
In my annales I find information about another Ed Costa LP: Festa de Brotos, Eduardo Costa E Os Hit-Makers, Brazil, Artistas Unidos,1968.
As I know from internet, Ed Costa working now in Brazilian show business as keyboardplayer and have own site. Another enigmatic organist: Juarez Sant'ana - he's great too.
Good Day!
It's bossanov again
From some sources I know, that Geraldo Vespar (el-g)was member of Eduardo Costa e Seu Conjunto on Apresentando album. Don't know is it the truth.
