Paulinho da Viola - Nervos de Aco (1973)

This is the best moment to show a masterpiece to Loronixers. The last post of Sunday will cross the whole Monday, which is Loronix busiest day. This is probably one of the best albums I have heard this year and I'm very thankful to the mysterious Samba contributor for dragging my attention to Paulinho da Viola.

We had a previous and pretty recent release, Memorias Chorando, which is Paulinho da Viola playing instrumental music. Now it is time to meet Paulinho da Viola singing. Nervos de Aco is solid, you get hooked at the first second and it is all about feelings, passion and beauty. It is worth checking.

This is Paulino da Viola - Nervos de Aco (1973), for Odeon. The cover artwork says a lot about Nervos de Aco. We never know what are the feelings of an artist that are directly associated with their albums, but I'm convinced that Paulinho da Viola feels everything inside this record, pure beauty and mastery arranged and played by a constellation of Brazilian musicians. I could describe this album track by track with great pleasure, but I decided to give you the pleasures of find it out alone. Tracks include:
