Ivanildo - O Sax de Ouro (1979)

Hello, good evening! I don't know why futebol (soccer) games make me sleep. I heard the green color has some kind of "sleeping" effect, but I think the problem is the quality of the game itself. Anyway, let's start this Sunday putting that idea of showing musicians with many recording releases that never had the chance of a solo album at Loronix, such as we did with a great feedback of Loronixers when we made available the first Saraiva album. Let's see.

This is Ivanildo - O Sax de Ouro (1979), for Cid, featuring the Brazilian sax player Ivanildo, also known as Ivanildo "Sax de Ouro". It is easy to explain why "Sax de Ouro" is part of Ivanildo name; he released six "Sax de Ouro" albums in a row, being this one the first. Little I know about him, except that Ivanildo is not a musician that follows a style or release records for sophisticated Jazz audience, he plays something to a popular audience and his albums were always very well succeeded commercially. Ivanildo has renowned special guests on his first Sax de Ouro, including Chiquinho do Acordeon playing piano. Tracks include:

Thank you, thank you for still using ZIP files. They are easier for me to deal with, and I can still listen to your outstandingly fine musical choices.
