This album brings a blend of elements that guarantee flawless and solid listen. The first is Elizeth Cardoso singing Sambas in another record from the A Meiga Elizeth series, which totals five albums, having in common the direction and participation of the legendary Moacyr Silva, which is the second element of the combination. The third element is something to be confirmed, but I bet all my coins that Walter Wanderley takes part at this session, as well some others from the same A Meiga Elizeth series. Everything works really nice here, except this little inspired cover artwork, unlike other Elizeth Cardoso releases for Copacabana, the record company that released almost all LPs recorded by Elizeth Cardoso. Let's see.
This is Elizeth Cardoso - A Meiga Elizeth Nr. 3 (1963), for Copacabana, featuring Moacyr Silva as producer and tenor sax in some tracks. AdHoc says that every Elizeth Cardoso album is worth checking, which is something that I agree a hundred percent.
