Irany Pinto, Jose Menezes, Moacyr Silva, & Sivuca - 4 Azes em HI-FI (1958)

Hello, good evening! I have been away from Loronix in the past two days, but at the same time, I have never been so close to Loronix, acting behind the scenes and accelerating the work of reactivation of broken links. I have good news. Everything is working until October 15 2006 and from a grand total of 100 weeks, 79 are completed fixed up. I estimate additional 7 or 10 days to fix all weeks, and then Loronix should go back to business as usual. I think it is important to keep everybody informed about our progress. Don't miss the Restoration Status Panel, always close to the first post.

Don't miss also this truly amazing release, another album sent by Jorge Mello to our community. Let's see.

This is Irany Pinto, Jose Menezes, Moacyr Silva, & Sivuca - 4 Azes em HI-FI (1958), for Copacabana. I think this cover and the musicians in this session make leads my writing to something not necessary, but I would like to say this album is not a compilation, they perform together across the whole session, with highlights to each one at specific tracks. Tracks include:

Irany Pinto

Good morning Zecalouro,

thank you and all Loronixers for your impressive work.

Just a suggestion: "Nel blu dipinto di blu", featured in this record and probably the most widely known Italian song ever, was written by Domenico Modugno (music) and Franco Migliacci (lyrics). Riccardo Pazzaglia, named in the track list, wrote other songs with Modugno but not this one.

I know how much important is for all of you to give proper credits to songwriters and musicians: this is the only reason why I have allowed myself this comment.

Please, keep on revealing treasures to the world.
Thank you again.
Francesco

This is a killer session... all four of them swing individually as well as together. Amazing.
Thanks for posting it.
Great cover and as always... great scan.
Obrigado.
