I'm carry on another of those "everybody is waiting" request of Loronixers. A LP of a Brazilian with a strong association with Bossa Nova, gives live performances regularly, but released few records. This is his first solo record to be presented at Loronix, however, he is present on several albums with another artists and represented with some of more than 300 compositions written so far.This is Billy Blanco - Paulistana, Retrato de uma Cidade (1974), for Odeon. Paulistana is in fact a symphony and a tribute to the City of Sao Paulo. The orchestra is in charge of Maestro Chico Morais while Aloysio de Oliveira makes produces. All tracks are Billy Blanco compositions performed by several renowned artists, as follows: Pery Ribeiro, Claudia, Elza Soares, Nadinho da Ilha, Claudette Soares and Miltinho.
