This is Zimbo Trio - E Tempo de Samba, Zimbo Trio + Cordas Volume 1 (1967), for RGE, a very early Zimbo Trio LP, produced by Zimbo Trio and released three years before their debut LP in 1964. 01 - Anoiteceu (Francis Hime / Vinicius de Moraes)
02 - Disparada (Geraldo Vandré / Theo de Barros)
03 - Non-stop To Brasil (Luis Bonfá)
04 - Arueira (Geraldo Vandré)
05 - É Tempo de Samba (Adilson Godoy)

07 - Cidade Vazia (Baden Powell / Luis Fernando Freire)
08 - Tereza Cristina (Chico Buarque)
09 - O Amor Em Paz (Tom Jobim / Vinicius de Moraes)

Wow, another great surprise waiting for me at Loronix tonight. Many thanks to zeca the magic bird, and to Mr. Magoo (the mysterious Mr. Magoo... :o) I know the cartoon character, but not the Loronix member... at least I don't think I know you!).
To top it all off, this music is as good or better than I had hoped. Long live the Zimbo Trio!
Thanks again, and happy new year from California.
