I'm just leaving a phone call with Caetano to make the decision of the posts of the day and this one was taken with no hesitation from both parts, actually, when we remember this pick we both shout out loud as we were on a soccer stadium, saying YEEES! Muito bom! É ESSE MESMO and other terms that are not appropriate. Let's check the reason for this great enthusiasm.This is Vince Guaraldi and Bola Sete - & Sus Amigos (1963), for Fantasy, the first of a series of collaborations of the great Brazilian guitar player Bola Sete and the jazz pianist Vince Guaraldi, featuring Bola Sete (guitar, arrangements), Vince Guaraldi (piano, arrangements), Fred Marshall (bass) and Jerry Granelli (drums). The first thing that came to my mind when I heard this album was: "these guys are long-time friends". Big mistake of mine, I read that they knew each other one day before the recording session. Caetano kindly present us a Spanish edition, the US edition is Vince Guaraldi / Bola Sete & Friends. Tracks include:
