Woow! Sometimes even zecalouro gets surprised with the grabbing he does inside his bag. Thanks to Rapidshare outage, that made him dig the deepest bottom of his ark to find this lost gem.We had the chance to hear Moacyr Silva on several posts before, especially those two great albums he made with Elizeth Cardoso, the Sax e Voz volume 1 and 2 series. This is the first Moacyr Silva solo LP and I confess that I amazed with it.
Moacyr Silva, Orquestra e Coro - E Tempo de Samba Nr. 2 (1965), it is a nice instrumental album with the swinging sax in the hands of Moacyr dueling with the orchestra accompaniment in the rhythm of Samba. I will save your precious time, this LP speaks by itself. There is nothing to add here, it is truly amazing. Tracks include:
