It has been a long time since the last release provided by Mr. K., our Japanese collaborator, our Loronix friend that pleased us with Leny Andrade - Gravado no Mexico (1966) some weeks ago. There are some releases from Mr. K. queued and this pick is another nice one.
This is Ana Lucia - Ana Lucia (1959), for Chantecler, until some friend tells I'm wrong, probably her debut LP. This is certainly a most wanted LP of this Brazilian singer that was not well known by many and now has a place on our collection. The cover artwork remembers a lot Baden Powell debut LP, released in the same period by Philips. Thanks once again Mr. K. Tracks include:
- Cheiro de Saudade (Djalma Ferreira / Luis Antônio)
- Por Que Tinha de Ser (Tom Jobim / Vinicius de Moraes)
- Esquecendo Você (Tom Jobim)
- Destinos (Djalma Ferreira / Luis Antônio)
- Nada no Meu Coração (Hervé Cordovil)
- Tema do Adeus (Salathiel Coelho / Ribeiro Filho)
- Chicote (Aloísio Figueiredo / Nelson Figueiredo)
- Cor do Pecado (Bororó)
- Mundo Mau (Sidney Morais / Julio Rosemberg)
- A Outra Face (Celso Mendes Nogueira / Henrique Lobo)
- O Tempo e o Vento (Johnny Alf)
- Amar Não É Brinquedo (Miranda / Maio)

essa capa parece inspirada em 'vertigo', filme de 1958 do gênio alfred hitchcock.
