Orquestra e Coral de Severino Filho - Metais e Vozes em Festival (1963)

Hello! Let's start the day great with another Caetano Rodrigues contribution to Loronix. This record is always taken by mistake as an Os Cariocas album, probably by the great identification of Severino Filho with Os Cariocas. Severino filho was founder and member of os Cariocas during all phases, leading the group since the passing of his brother, Ismael Netto.

Severino Filho is a pianist and is also responsible for Os Cariocas vocal arrangements. This is Orquestra e Coral de Severino Filho - Metais e Vozes em Festival (1963), similar to the last release of Orquestra Pan American, which also had the participation of Os Cariocas.

Personnel include, Coral Oito Vozes, which is Os Cariocas as Severino Filho, Badeco, Quartera and Luiz Roberto plus Hortencia, Jurema, Gloria and Odaléa. Hortencia, Jurema and Gloria are sisters of Severino Filho and Ismael Neto. This is a unique orchestra LP selected by Caetano Rodrigues to Loronixers. Thank you!
It is always interesting to listen Brazilian covers of US-music (jazz, rock'n'roll, twist, etc.)
