Lani Hall - A Brazileira Lani Hall (1981)

"Special thanks to Sergio Mendes for changing the course of my life, and for introducing me to the beautiful sounds of Brasil. Thank you Aloysio de Oliveira (Luie) for making this album a reality, and to Oscar Castro Neves for his unique talent. The music of Brasil has entered my heart and sings through my soul".

Lani Hall

Wonderful statement by a singer with several albums at Loronix having her first album as main performer today. I never heard about a solo LP by Lani Hall, actually, my education on Sergio Mendes did not reach his supporting artists and I could only take Leni Hall as an artist with this album, thanks to Caetano for providing to our community.

This is Lani Hall - A Brazileira Lani Hall (1981), for A&M, produced by the mighty Aloysio de Oliveira and arranged by Oscar Castro Neves. Lani Hall does not speak Portuguese and sings Portuguese lyrics as Brazilian, and she sings very well. A Brazileira Leni Hall also features percussion by Laudir de Oliveira and Abraham Laboriel on bass. Tracks include:
