Music Video | Baden Powell - Saarbrücken (1970)

Wonderful! Bravo! Perhaps everybody had the chance to watch this session, but it is pretty new for me and I'm really amazed. This is truly one of the coolest Baden Powell videos ever. Thanks to rb.ardiles for pointing the way to such wonderful material, there is more to come. Baden Powell plays two songs, an excerpt of what rb.ardiles call as Saarbrücken (1970) Baden Powell video, accompanied by the same musicians that recorded the three volume series Baden Powell Quartet in 1970, as follows:

Personnel

Baden Powell
(violao)
Ernesto Ribeiro
(bass)
Helio Schiavo
(drums)
Alfredo Bessa
(percussion)

Hope uEnjoy!

Fantastico! I actually saw Goran Ivanovic (of the group Eastern Blok here in Chicago) use that same crossed-strings technique to sound like a snare drum. It's very cool to see Baden using it too.

The Quartet is definitely among my favorite Baden Powell groups. Obrigado pelo clipe!

Excelente! É uma pena que a imagem não está muito boa como a da foto. Um detalhe, a primeira música foi composta pelo proprio Baden Powell, o nome dela é Marcha Escocesa, embora com sabor do nordeste, essa versão eu não conhecia. Parabéns!
