Hello, good evening! Let's start the day with a brand new contribution by Caetano Rodrigues. Actually, I have been receiving several emails from friends asking for new Caetano Rodrigues contributions and I want to address this request here. It's my fault, parrot problems, Caetano exchanges his collection using MD, those small rewriteable discs, and my equipment was defective during the last months. The solution came last week with the acquisition of a new one. Caetano Rodrigues makes the difference in terms of Bossa Nova LPs. Stay tuned for the forthcoming weeks. Meanwhile, let's see this one.

This is Marilia Barbosa, Jose Ricardo and Victor Hugo - Para Viver um Grande Amor (1969), for RCA Victor, a jointly debut LP of Marilia Barbosa, Jose Ricardo and Victor Hugo. I cannot remember another album with three artists together recording for the first time a solo LP; in fact, Jose Ricardo is a veteran with two previous LPs by the same RCA Victor. Perhaps I'm wrong, Victor Hugo could not move further with a recording career, while Marilia Barbosa became a star with several albums recorded and active until today. There is another artist performing at Para Viver um Grande Amor, Antonio Lucio, on track 12 - Para Viver um Grande Amor, but he does not sing, just speaks this Vinicius de Moraes poem. Seems weird, but is really nice, mainly for the many fans of Marilia Borbosa, I'm sure Para Viver um Grande Amor is pretty unknown among them. Tracks include:

Is the girl on the cover Marilia Barbosa, or is this just a illustrative photo? I know this singer but I´ve never seen a picture of her.
