Varios Artistas - Parada de Sucessos (1951)

This record is a piece of history and you should take it from this perspective. Sinter was the first Brazilian record company to release LPs, a major improvement compared with the old 78rpm with one track on each side, and this is just the second LP released by Sinter. This 10-inch is very old, so old that Sinter did not use vinyl, but the same plastic material from the 78rpms. When I took it for a wash, I had no hope that I could take a clean sound, but the record played very nice. Let's see.

This is Parada de Sucessos (1951), for Sinter, the second LP produced in Brazil, featuring Os Cariocas, Ze Menezes, Geraldo Pereira, Carolina Cardoso de Menezes, among others. The tracks with Os Cariocas and Ze Menezes are really great, my favorites. Another nice thing about this album, the 78rpms, did not bring cover artworks; we should take this album as the second LP Brazilian cover artwork. I don't like this cover and taking a look at the later Sinter releases, I think they learn fast on making nice ones. Tracks include:
