My great discovery at Loronix was the legendary tenor sax Moacyr Silva, a very important artist that does not have a single career album available commercially. Another example is Jacob do Bandolim, considered by many the best Brazilian bandolim player ever and one of the greatest Brazilian musicians of all time. Let's see.
This is Jacob do Bandolim - Isto e Nosso (1968), for RCA Camdem, featuring remastered Jacob do Bandolim recordings taken from 78 RPMs released in the 50's. Jacob has the accompaniment of several renowned musicians, such like Dino 7 Cordas, Canhoto, Meira and a special group assembled on track 11 - Magoas, featuring Lindolpho Gaya, Zaccarias, Wilson, Paulo Moura, Moacyr Silva, Sandoval, Orfeu, Fats Elpidio, Dino, Bill, Barao, Jorge Silva and Silvio, available at Loronix Preview Center for your convenience. Thanks a million to JOAO-SP for making another nice album available to our community. Tracks include personnel listing this time.

The big covers look great. Thanks for doing that.
Evan G,
Just wanted you to know I'm still alive and continue to enjoy all your offerings. You are still the best. -
Evan G, at Mega Super Mammoth.
Thank you a lot for the effort in sharing such an enormous amount of great music - especially this one from Jacob Bittencourt, which is quite impossible to find here in Germany! Without a blog like yours I definately wouldn't be able to listen to much of the music you present.
Happy Easter!
