How I like this album! And I'm sad to know it is time to send it back to his owner, which is our friend Jose Matos and his last contribution of a small and really solid set including the previous released Luiz Carlos Vinhas - Novas Estruturas and the acclaimed Lenita Bruno - Por Toda a Minha Vida, with participation of Maestro Leo Peracchi. Jose Matos is also a great vinyl keeper, Mais Bossa com Os Cariocas was released in 1963 and his copy is near mint. Let's see.This is Os Cariocas - Mais Bossa com Os Cariocas (1963), for Philips, featuring Os Cariocas second LP for Philips on their glory Bossa Nova years, where six albums where released from 1962 until 1967. Several Bossa Nova tunes were recorded on these six albums and most of them are still considered the best renditions of most of these songs. My highlight goes to the track listed at Loronix Preview Center 01 - Telefone (Roberto Menescal / Ronaldo Boscoli). Tracks include:
