Anyway, the music cannot stop at Loronix and this is what I call a flawless release, Elis Regina is one of the most demanded artists by our community, this album is considered one of her best releases in the 70's and it is also surprisingly out of print. Let's see.
This is Elis Regina - Falso Brilhante (1976), for Philips. I always thought this album was a live recording of the famous Elis Regina's Falso Brilhante show, but is a studio session based on the repertoire of that successful show, continuously on stage for more than a year from December 1975 until February 1977. Falso Brilhante is also about one of my favorites Brazilian composers, Belchior, author Como os Nossos Pais, one of greatest Elis Regina interpretations, which is Falso Brilhante opening track and also my selection to Loronix Preview Center.
