Edu da Gaita - Edu em 8 Ritmos (1957) 10P

Hello, Good Night! Let's start the day with an artist that is probably known only by the friends who live in Brazil, Edu da Gaita, a famous virtuoso harmonica player, active from the 30's until the early 80's. Edu da Gaita was the first musician to perform the Moto Perpetual of Nicolo Paganini on a wind instrument.

Edu da Gaita was responsible for the popularization of the harmonica in Brazil on popular music and also classical, winning several awards in Europe and South America. He was also the solist of Radames Gnattali sexteto during the 60's. In this LP, Edu da Gaita - Edu em 8 Ritmos (1957) 10P, for Polydor, Edu's harmonica visits several genres, such as: Samba, Fox, Baiao and Fado with the accompaniment of Alexandre Gnattali Orquestra and arrangements.
