Os Cariocas de 400 Bossas is an important milestone to Os Cariocas career, being the first LP to have a great acceptance by the public and media. I'm not sure of what the four hundred means, but it seems to be a reference of the 400th anniversary of Rio de Janeiro City. I will do my best being a good bird and I hope to see the 500th anniversary of this amazing city with the age of 100 years old. Tracks include:
PS.: This cover is outstanding, simple and efficient. Philips is gradually taking my preference on cover artworks, the last Quinteto Violado release also had a nice Philips cover.

Amazing... I thought I already had this LP, but I have an LP called "Introducing Os Cariocas", which has an identical front cover, except for the words in the title. For some reason, I always thought this had the same songs as "Quatrocentas Bossas", but I was wrong. I'm a big fan of the 60's version of the group, so this is a very nice surprise to hear this LP for the first time!
Jim R,
That's great, Jim R. I'm happy present Loronixers with this LP. I amazing that you are hearing it for the first time.
Cheers, zecalouro
