Someone said before that Lalo Schifrin early works dedicated to the Bossa Nova repertoire were worth to dig. I can't remember the friend's name and he was absolutely right. This is a very nice record with the piano of Lalo Schifrin and the trombone of Bob Brookmeyer supported by renowned artists, such as Phil Woods, Al Cohn and others. Overall personnel makes more that an accompaniment, they have also the spotlights with several solos throughout the record. Thanks for it, Caetano, people should be really amazed by this album.
