Quinteto Villa-Lobos e Luizinho Eca - Vanguarda (1972)

Luiz Eça is really a great artist; I think everybody likes him, he is one of the few artists that I never knew someone who dislike. Everybody likes Luiz Eca and few friends are neutral to him. I'm happy to show Loronixers an album arranged and conduced by Luiz Eça with Quinteto Villa-Lobos, which is a classical music quintet that has been together since 1962 and you probably know by their participation on 5 na Bossa with Tamba Trio, Nara Leao and Edu Lobo.

This is Quinteto Villa-Lobos e Luizinho Eca - Vanguarda (1972), for Odeon, arranged and conduced by Luiz Eça and directed by Maestro Lindolfo Gaya. Quinteto Villa-Lobos is Carlos Rato (flute), Braz Limonge (oboe), Gonzaga Carneiro (clarinet), Carlos Gomes (trompa) and Airton Barbosa (fagote). Tracks include:

01 - Construção (Chico Buarque)
02 - Travessia (Milton Nascimento / Fernando Brant)
03 - Valsinha (Vinicius de Moraes / Chico Buarque)
04 - Cais (Milton Nascimento / Ronaldo Bastos)
05 - Reflexos (Luis Eça)
06 - Viola Enluarada (Marcos Valle / Paulo Sergio Valle)
07 - Olha Maria (Tom Jobim)
08 - Chovendo na Roseira (Tom Jobim)
