Phil Bodner - Manha de Carnaval and other Bossa Nova Favorites (1967)

Arriving home, zeca was shouting the word "mengo". If someone knows how to make him stop this thing, please tell me, this is unacceptable. Thank you. Moving forward with another great contribution from Caetano Rodrigues. Caetano delivers today this really nice album that I could see before only by this cute cover at his book. This album belongs to the legendary Living Jazz series of RCA and has many hidden treasures. Let's see.

This is Phil Bodner - Manha de Carnaval and Other Bossa Nova Favorites (1967), for RCA Candem. Phil Bodner is a clarinetist and an active studio musician that recorded this Bossa Nova album for Living Jazz series taking the role of arranger and conductor. Living Jazz series is a collector’s pursuit and is recognized by the excellence of its recording process and musicians that are assembled to each set. Manha de Carnaval also features Bobby Rosengarden (drums), Buddy Morrow (trombone), Bucky Pizarelli (guitar), among others. Tracks include:
