Elizeth Cardoso - A Meiga Elizeth (1960)

I'm very proud of being the owner of the original Copacabana 1960 issue of this album, by the way, I was missing Copacabana label at Loronix, their covers are always original and beautiful and perhaps Copacabana had probably the best cast of artists in the late 50's and early 60s. This album was reissued in CD by EMI, which is the owner of Cobacabana legacy and has gone recently out of print.

I have also an assumption to make regarding this album, I'm quite sure that Walter Wanderley is the organist, the Hammond B3 organ is played exactly the way you expect from Walter Wanderley. If anybody has this info, please let us know.

This is Elizeth Cardoso - A Meiga Elizeth (1960), for Copacabana. A Meiga Elizeth was one of the most successful Elizeth Cardoso records, which is probably the reason of the "Meiga Elizeth" series creation. Moacyr Silva delivers always-nice musical and production direction, playing his sax tenor in some tracks. Caetano highly recommends this album and it is very difficult to hear such appreciation from his selective musical taste. I hope Loronixers also enjoy Elizeth Cardoso.
