Marcos Moran e Samba Som Sete - Transamba (1973)

Let's play with Samba at Loronix, at least what zecalouro thinks it is pure Samba and not Samba with Bossa Nova or Jazz flavor. This LP came from one of those file sharing programs we have available at the Internet, so I cannot give the appropriate credits to the friend that make it available. It is so nice, bossanovadreamer said that he heard a single track of this artist and it is great. Anyway, everything lead to this post, why not make it?

This is Marcos Moran e Samba Som Sete - Transamba (1973), for Caravelle, with the participation of Silvia e Sandra (probably a duet) and Jadir de Castro, which you had the chance to see a couple of weeks ago at Loronix. This is a perfect Samba record from the early 70's, such like the ones made by Antonio Carlos & Jocafi, Tom & Dito and others. Samba Som Sete makes the accompaniment, resulting in what people use to call a "groovy" record. I'm quite sure this should be a surprising release for many friends. Tracks include:

- Partido Alto (Chico Buarque)
- Uma Rosa Com Amor (Antônio Carlos Marques / Jocafi)
- Minhas Razões (Antônio Carlos Marques / Jocafi)
- Capoeira (Batista da Mangueira)
- Bate Barriga (Antônio Carlos Marques / Jocafi)
- Quero Ver Minha Escola Passar (David Correia)
- Besta É Tu (Pepeu Gomes / Moraes Moreira / Galvão)
- Quem Lhe Disse Que Eu Chorei (Antônio Grande)
- Do Lado Direito da Rua Direita (Luis Carlos / Chiquinho)
- Cafuné (Zuzuca)
- Esquindin-din (Lucas da Tijuca)
- Pagode do Vavá (Paulinho da Viola)
