Elza Soares - O Maximo em Samba (1967)

Elza Soares, what a nice choice, nothing can go wrong with Elza Soares - O Maximo em Samba (1967). This LP is so cool, great and successful that zecalouro could sing together by heart all its twelve tracks this afternoon.

The late 60's was Elza Soares peak and this LP one of her best releases. zecalouro is quite sure that each track will bring to Brazilian friends good memories, all songs are fresh and as today, being played during carnaval and Samba shows. zecalouro friends worldwide will also enjoy it, the track list is a must with songs that will make you wake up in the morning whistling Elza's music and felling happy.

This album could be subtitled Elza Soares in Las Vegas. It has a 'live' feel and swings like mad. Great band behind her. I loved the tuba.

Hello David,

Got it!

... or Elza Soares in Rio. This LP should be on every psychiatry survival kit to heal depression with no side effects. Unfortunately, no additional album info is available. Brazilian music is amazing but lacks on structured information about the past. I feel with the difficulties faced to gather a minimum set of information for each LP.

Avocado Kid,

Actually, I really need a new iPod. The nano is fine with design, sound and features, but the 20Gb hard drive is pretty tiny for everything I want to be reacheable all the time.

I remember the day were I bought a new Western Digital HD with the gourgeous - for the time - 20Mb capacity. It was enough in the 80's. Today...
