It is strange that we are having two Mr. X. contributions in a row, but with the computer problem, it was impossible to make different. Anyway, Mr. X. decided to bring this time to Loronix one of his "Mr." friends, really amazing, this is Mr. Samba and His Rhythmic Skindos - This is Bossa Nova (1963), for RGE, once again, a Brazilian LP with an English title.
I don't know who is Mr. Samba and His Rhythmic Skindos, but this name is just hilarious for those who understand Portuguese. Mr. Samba released two LPs for RGE and this is the second. The cover shows Brasilia City for a not known reason. Rubens Perez "Pocho" arranged this LP and I bet my cents that he is the mysterious Mr. Samba. Tracks include:
01 - Manhã de Carnaval (Luis Bonfá / Antônio Maria)
02 - Chorando Chorando (Édson Borges / Armando Cavalcanti)
03 - Solução (Raul Sampaio / Ivo Santos)
04 - Descendo o Morro (Billy Blanco / Tom Jobim)
05 - Por Causa de Você (Tom Jobim / Dolores Duran)
06 - Solidão (Tom Jobim / Alcides Fernandes)
07 - Samba do Orfeu (Luis Bonfá / Antônio Maria)
08 - Confidencia (Raul Sampaio / Benil Santos)
09 - Foi a Noite (Tom Jobim / Newton Mendonça)
10 - Mal de Amor (Raul Sampaio / Benil Santos)
11 - Batucada (Luis Bonfá)

Fine instrumental album. Could it be that Juaerz is the saxplayer- if not Costita? But the way of solostructures remind me a lot of the "Nos states" album of Juarez-How Zeca said if someone know the pers. would be great...
Best wishes
Prezado amigo, está escrito que " The cover shows Brasilia City for a not known reason." Na minha opinião a capa é o Monumento aos Pracinhas no Aterro. Abraços
Anonymous,
